Changes & Cancellations Policy

1. Airline Fare Rules

All airline tickets are subject to the fare rules set by the operating airline. These rules determine whether a ticket is:

• Refundable or non-refundable
• Eligible for changes or cancellations
• Subject to cancellation penalties and fare differences

Most economy class fares are non-refundable. Refundable fares, if available, usually come at a higher cost and are clearly communicated before payment.

2. Cancellation Fees

If your ticket allows cancellation, the total cancellation cost may include:

• The airline’s cancellation penalty
• Any applicable fare difference or loss of fare value
• Flight Blue’s service or handling fees (if applicable)

Cancellation fees vary depending on the airline, route, fare type and timing of the request.

3. Non-Refundable Tickets

For non-refundable tickets, cancellations generally result in the loss of the ticket value. In some cases, airlines may allow:

• Partial credits for future use
• Airport tax refunds only

This depends entirely on the airline’s policy and cannot be guaranteed.

4. Voluntary vs Involuntary Cancellations

Voluntary cancellations are initiated by the passenger (e.g. change of plans or personal reasons) and are subject to standard airline penalties.

Involuntary cancellations occur due to airline actions (e.g. schedule changes or flight cancellations). In these cases, refund or rebooking options are determined by the airline’s rules.

5. Third-Party Services & Add-Ons

Additional services such as seat selection, extra baggage, protection plans or other add-ons may be:

• Non-refundable

6. Processing Time

If a refund is approved by the airline:

• Airline processing may take several weeks
• Refunds are issued to the original form of payment
