In some cases, airlines may exonerate the penalty for flight changes if a valid medical reason is presented. If approved, you would only need to pay the fare difference.

  • Medical certificate (PDF, JPG, or .DOC format)

  • Estimated recovery period

  • If hospitalized, a document confirming the hospitalization period
    •    
  • If the patient is a direct relative, include a document proving the relationship along with their medical certificate

  • Date of diagnosis (must be the same day or before the scheduled flight)
    •    
  • Details of the diagnosis
    •    
  • Full name and ID/passport number of the patient
    •    
  • Full name, specialty, and ID of the doctor
    •    
  • A clear statement indicating the passenger is not fit to fly
    •    
  • Contact phone number of the doctor and/or medical facility
    •    
  • Doctor's signature and official stamp
